PERFECT LEMON POUND CAKE

The secrets to making the perfect pound cake at home are actually quite simple, but even though pound cake recipes are traditionally quite simple and seemingly easy, it’s also the kind of cake that’s easy to mess up if you’re unfamiliar with the process.

Prep Time  - 20 minutes
 Cook Time 1 hour - 15 minutes
 Total Time 1 hour - 35 minutes
 Servings - 8 servings

Ingredients
1 cup unsalted butter (at room temperature)
1 1/2 cups white sugar
zest of 2 large lemons
5 eggs
1/3 cup sour cream (full fat)
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 1/2 cup all purpose flour
1/2 tsp salt
